Tyrod Taylor will start for the Buffalo Bills’ second preseason game
After a good preseason debut, Tyrod Taylor will start the Buffalo Bills’ second preseason game Thursday against the Cleveland Browns, head coach Rex Ryan announced.
“Tyrod will get the first reps. He’s going to start,” Ryan said Friday night. “He’s going to get a lot of the first reps, so we’ll do it business as usual, but he’ll be getting the first shot at it, so he’ll be probably getting a few more reps.”

Taylor went 5-for-8 for 49 yards and led the Bills to a pair of second quarter touchdowns against backup defenders. On top of his 49 passing yards, he added 47 rushing yards on six carries. Two of those runs also drew penalties that helped the Bills sustain their first drive.
