Scott Chandler released by Bills to clear salary cap space
The Buffalo Bills have released veteran tight end Scott Chandler.
Scott Chandler was in the last year of his contract with the Bills and was poised to make $2.25 million in 2015. His release provides a measure of cap room that could be sign tight end Charles Clay.
The Bills are also talking with free agent WR Percy Harvin, who arrived in Buffalo midday Wednesday for a visit as well. He played in eight games under Rex Ryan with the Jets last season, but was released Tuesday in a cap savings move.
