Could Mark Sanchez be the next quarterback for the Buffalo Bills?
With the news that Rex Ryan will become the new Buffalo Bills head coach the first question that comes to mind: What about the quarterback?
Of course, EJ Manuel is still on the roster but he has not been the player Buffalo expected. Could the rumor of ex-49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman fix the underachieving Manuel? Roman has relied in the past on a run-heavy approach, which pairs well with the talent he will inherit in Buffalo.
What about Mark Sanchez? Rex Ryan’s 2009 and 2010 Jets teams found their success with one of the soon-to-be free agents, Mark Sanchez, at quarterback. Sanchez’s subsequent battle with Geno Smith, and then Smith’s head-to-head with Michael Vick, proved fruitless. Will the Bills be able to do any better than Manuel vs. a veteran journeyman?
