Bills still seeking hire someone to advise them on football matters
Buffalo News’ Vic Carucci is reporting that the Bills are still seeking an advisor. Initially the Pegulas were turned down by Bill Polian, however they are still interested in hiring someone to advise them on football matters.
Carucci reports that the Bills are looking at the Cleveland Browns senior player-personnel associate Ron Hill. Hill has 34 years of experience as an NFL scout and player personnel executive. Before joining the Browns, Hill was the NFL’s vice president of football operations.
He spent seven years as vice president of football operations and vice president of player personnel for the Atlanta Falcons. Hill also was director of pro personnel for the Jacksonville Jaguars, assistant director of player personnel for the Denver Broncos, and a scout for the Dallas Cowboys.
During his involvement in player-personnel in the league, Hill has been a part of four Super Bowls and 10 conference title game appearances.
