Bills sign McCoy to a five year deal
LeSean McCoy and the Bills have agreed to a new five-year contract a source confirmed to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.
LeSean McCoy and Bills have agreed on a $16M first year total with $26.5M total guaranteed and $40M over 5 years. The new five-year deal, will add two years to McCoy’s existing contract. The deal cannot be formally completed or announced until the 2015 league season begins Tuesday.
McCoy has the NFL’s third-most rushing yards (6,792) and fourth-most rushing touchdowns (44) since the Eagles drafted him in the second round in 2009. He finished last season with 1,319 rushing yards, third-most in the NFL.
McCoy is expected to take a physical with the Bills today.
