Bills add former Ravens quarterback Tyrod Taylor
Quarterback Tyrod Taylor has signed with the Buffalo Bills. After backing up Joe Flacco in Baltimore the past four seasons but never starting a game, Taylor has signed a two-year contract with the Buffalo Bills, a deal worth more than seven million if Taylor emerges as the starter. He’ll compete for the top job with Matt Cassel and E.J. Manuel. Taylor didn’t throw a pass in a game this past season, marking the first time that’s happened in his NFL career.
In 14 games for the Ravens, Taylor completed 19 of 35 passes for 199 yards, and threw two interceptions. The Bills now have four quarterbacks under contract, including incumbents EJ Manuel and Jeff Tuel.
